I have been friends with Chad and Kayla for over a decade, and we have gone through lots of life stages and transitions together. Jacob was in their wedding (I will never live down the fact that I wasn’t able to be there because I was OUT OF THE COUNTRY but it’s fine), we were there when Kayla told Chad about Callie Jo’s impending arrival, and I have been praying for Liam since they decided they were going to adopt. Watching them go through such a tough season of waiting, rejection, pain, uncertainty, and eventually-so much hope and joy was such a testament to the Gospel and they way the Lord works out all things for our good. I am just smitten with those Whittle babies, and I cannot believe we have all been on this journey together for so long as families. Chad and Kayla-thank you for your friendship (and help with allllll the house projects) for so many years. We are blessed to have you guys in our lives.
