Katherine & Billy || Atlanta Wedding Photographer || Atlanta Film Wedding
I didn’t get to meet Katherine and Billy until their wedding day, but it was immediate to me as soon as I saw them together that they are meant to be. Katherine is strong, independent, and elegant. Billy is calm, joyous, and madly in love with his bride. When Candace and Jennifer of Evermore Weddings and Events came to me about photographing this day, I was immediately excited because Katherine was clear that she wanted a more photo-journalistic feel to her wedding photos. Details of the day were a second place to the family and friends that would be there celebrating the two of them. While I love a good detail shot, my heart will always beat to tell the story of love and the people that celebrate it. The wedding was held in Katherine’s childhood home, with memories and sentiment tied to the ones who have loved and lived in it. Katherine’s late mother helped to create the shawl that she surrounded herself with the entire day, and Katherine’s father walked her through the garden gate with a clay heart made from little hands years ago. These are the things that my wedding photographer dreams are made of…not to mention-there was a crepe truck AND a goldendoodle. I will stop talking about how much I adored this day, and just show you instead. As always, don’t forget to celebrate love!
