I met Lauren and John when I shot an editorial shoot in Birmingham this past Spring, and I fell in love with them immediately. Lauren is one of those people that just effortlessly has it all together-and if she doesn’t, she tells you flat out and makes you feel right at home. I was so honored to photograph their family during my last visit to Birmingham, especially since Lauren is one of my favorite film family photographers ever (no pressure). Their home was warm and inviting, their babies were hilarious and adorable, and I just had the very best time capturing them.
